Why did my over night FedEx package not come?

my phone broke so i went to Verizon yesterday and she said she ordered my phone for me , over night shipping straight to my house, and its suppose to be here today. its 6:54 p.m right now, is there still any hope for it to come? and if not, will it come tomorrow? (sunday)
