Does God REALLY care that much about you?

So I'm watching a preacher on this prayer channel. He literally said "God told me to tell you, that if you just donate $273 he will change your life in the next 24 hours. He will fix your financial problems and God will give you a fedex or UPS miracle with a check" does God REALLY care about your financial problems? Would you donate money to this guy?
