Do female frogs croak?

Are you absolutely sure it is a girl? Female frogs don't usually croak. A croak is a call used by the male to attract females. She follows the sound to them. White's are a great frog to have. They handle well and live a long time. Females are usually larger than males. Look on her 'hands' and you are looking for a 'nuptial pad' on the thumb. If it has a dark mark on the thumb it is a male. During the croak time, pick up the frog at look at the 'thumbs'. The pad is usually darker at this time and is a bit easier to see. In order to try to get her/him to croak, you have to recreate the mating season conditions in her/his tank.
