FedEx Virus in attachment?

Ok. So I downloaded this attachment that says about some delivery craps. So I downloaded the attachment. So there it was, a virus. How the heck am I suppose to know about these fake FedEx email with viruses in the attachments? I'm not updated with this sort of things! Anyway, it seems that the virus has deleted only some of my files at C. It also deleted the Restore points. So I can't go back to the past. I haven't done CHKDSK yet, but I'll do it now. I let AVAST expire. Also there's this Hard Drive Failure that keeps showing over and over again. Is this virus removable? If it is, then please tell me some ways to remove it!
